There isn't anything on Bandcamp yet, but my plan is to share mostly short videos on YouTube, shorter versions of songs on SoundCloud, and much longer pieces on Bandcamp. Short for this group is 7-10 minutes - sometimes we play for 20-30 minutes, I think the longest was maybe 40 minutes (?!!). The YouTube and SoundCloud stuff will most likely be excerpts, though the longer track on SoundCloud right now is about 8 minutes.

Yeah, hopefully that will happen - the three other guys actually play in the studio every week with the original bassist - that's why I was brought on board when he went on vacation - they can't stop! :o And when the original guy's other band gets a gig, he convinces them to play out, so they actually
have played out a few times. So you never know!

New video - I didn't share it initially because there's no Alembic content, but I'm proud of it - I'll explain why below:Instagram has some cool filters/effects - one shows stars or glitter only in the black sections of the image. I broke down and asked an AI (Gemini in this case) how to do it, and it taught me. I had to download DaVinci Resolve, but it's free and seems very powerful - more so than iMovie for sure!Here's another version - not sure which I like better:Next I might try making the video black and white.

This wasn't too much work - Google Gemini helped again, working with DaVinci Resolve. A possible next step would be to switch between the quadrant view and focus on one player when they're doing something cool - but that might be a lot of work - unless I can get an AI to do it for me lol

The bass is an earlier version of the Sadowsky Metro Express - made in China, before they switched to the roasted necks with the classic Sadowsky logo. So mine has what looks like was made on a label printer with a cheesy "RSD" logo. I tried not to let it bother me lol. But then with Mono Neon putting tube socks on his headstocks, and my wife taking up crochet, I asked her if she could make a covering for it, which she did. This one is a remix of an older video (audio remix too) - I made this before I got the 360 degree camera.
tbh, I'm not sure which bass I'm using! I think it's the AlFeMbExtOses - the only reason I think that is because I do some popping of the G string in the longer recording.
Since then I have started trying to keep track of sessions - instruments used, session notes, videos posted (with links) - but it ain't easy!
I think this video won't do so well - I took advantage of an AI tool in YouTube to get a pre-analysis of the video, and it was mostly C grade for a video - but for me, the music is the most important thing, and I hope that some people catch onto that... So if you've read this far, please watch - multiple times? - and like! No pressure though - I'm in it for the long hall...
