I'll be playing with a country band tomorrow at a benefit at the Red Frog in Colfax, California. First time playing a gig with these guys after only two rehearsals. Should be interesting. hehehehe.
Next week, my band "Dead Enough" will be playing at Retro Junkie in Walnut Creek. Our first time in this showcase club.

Enjoy!
You mentioned the gig went well in another thread. Any high points from the show?
Yea, the country gig went surprisingly well, especially after its inauspicious start. I arrived for load-in and discovered we were playing on an outdoor deck facing the inside of the restaurant where all the people could enjoy the interior warmth and watch us freeze. Needless to say, I was not prepared for an outdoor gig. I was wearing a nice western style shirt my wife surprised me with for the gig. It spent the night under a borrowed purple hoody. Yea, purple, the traditional country color! The band actually stepped up to the plate quite nicely compared to what I heard at rehearsal. I hit a few hiccups due to frozen fingers, but all-in-all I had a lot of fun and the crowd really liked us. I have another gig with them at the end of May.

The Dead Enough gig last night went very well. The venue, Retro Junkie, is a somewhat upscale night club with a nice big stage. They let our sound person do the mix, which was nice of them. We had a decent crowd for a Thursday night.
We have a private event at a resort in early June, then play in Novato, CA later in June. I attempted making a poster for the next couple of gigs using AI. I have to admit, I was blown away at the result!

Yeah, those are some cool posters.
Come celebrate America's 250th Birthday with Dead Enough! We'll be playing at 1849 Brewing Co. in Grass Valley this Saturday night, the Fourth of July! If anyone is in town for the High Sierra Music Festival, come by Saturday night. No cover!
