Representing today in NJ. I made myself an Alembic hoodie. ;D It was a Nike, but a darkness patch JUST covers the logo. Then on the case, I used two stickers to hide the Epiphone logo. 8)
Patch looks great on that sweatshirt!
Thanks Dave! AND I proceeded to leave it backstage at the venue! I need to call over there. It was found.
!!!!!
Joisey Represent! Hope the gig was great.
An Alembic long coat like a Wizard Cloak with a large hood and symbols like the Alembic Dark Alchemy tee shirts might be quite swell to wear at a gig. 8) Mystery Awaits !

At least it was a
shirt; for a number of years I wore a pair of black corduroy
jeans that I found on a chair in the club during teardown; in the intervening almost half century, I have often wondered how the heck you leave your
pants at the club (and how you get home without ending up in custody - though I have no way of knowing if he did).

I thought I'd add a little class to the gear hauler.
Always wanted to do that......but it kinda advertises the "prize inside!" ;)
The Alembic logo stickers are on both my vehicles... it's very rare anyone recognizes them. I had a shop customer recently who did.
outside of my luthier and a few assorted other bassists i know, i have yet to encounter anybody who knows what alembic is. as in:
some dude: nice bass! what is it?
me: it's an alembic.
some dude: olympic? i thought they made paint. are they new? is that a mushroom logo?
me: !!!
I've had the full colour cloud sticker on my last 3 cars and not once has anyone ever commented on it. That said, I personally wouldn't put a sticker with a brand name on though.
I've never "marked" my vehicle as belonging to a musician (I'm looking at YOU drummers! ;D ). But as has been said, few if any would be thieves would even know what that is, especially the darkness version. 8)
It's pretty easy to tell my older vehicle belongs to a musician. Other than the array of stickers on the back and side glass, plus a few on the windshield, advertising the stores and strings, assundry musical accessories, festival parking passes, there's always the faded paint, the peeling clearcoat, the dents, dings, hail damage, and some rust starting to eat through the fender wells. That seals the deal. Runs like sewing machine though. And carries my stuff everywhere.
There's often a couple instruments in there either going back to the store after being repaired, or coming from the store to my shop to be repaired. There's a running joke with the guys about leaving a banjo in an unlocked car... coming back and there's three more in there.
My other car is much more respectable and just has the Alembic badge. It's kinda' inside... IYKYK. 😉
