Title: New Alembic Website Launched
Post by: mica on December 13, 2025, 03:50:13 PM
We're happy to share that after a lot of hard work, our new website (https://club.alembicguitars.com/index.html) is now live:

www.alembicguitars.com (https://club.alembicguitars.com)

We'll be adding even more custom options, and the older Featured Custom Archive articles will soon be on the website as well.

We hope you enjoy it!

Love,
Mica, Erik, and Rob
Website Crew

And love from,
Ron, Susan, Mary, Bob, James, Kris, Trevor, Tom, Jesse, Mike, William, Keanu, and of course Koty!

Is the price list anywhere on the new site?  Couldn't find it.

It's under the CUSTOM menu at the top. We also decided to add it to the footer as well. So you should be able to find it easy now.

I see no mention of the Classico other than the price list.  Is it out of production now?

I see the "historic" photos are gone.  Is it possible to get the copies of Goliath & Leviathan while under construction?  If adding them later.....then I'll just wait.

Thanks for catching that, Bill.

Hi Gary, as mentioned on the test thread, the Classico page will return. I am taking new photos of a newly completed Cocobolo Classico with the new specs of pickups mounted under the fingerboard (it's SUPER slick). Of course nothing is ever really out of production (except limited editions) so never fear :)

Historic photos will likely return. I just wanted to have enough of the site transferred to our new design to start using it. I mean, a website is never really done, and I will be adding lots of other things too. That Custom Options section is gonna blow up!

Sorry. I missed that test post.  Will wait and enjoy all the new stuff.  It's better than Christmas.....presents keep coming over days instead of all at once.

Mica, that pickup must be what we saw on my visit in 2023, amongst other superb things.

Awesome site!  So beautiful.      Now, I hope the strings will be back in stock soon :)

I shudder to think how much work this took, but I think in total it's fabulous.  Congratulations !

My only suggestion would be some graphics that show the various S2, S1, Signature, etc., pickups/control setups, and likewise for the F's and the Super F.

Again, I think it looks great !

Congratulations and celebratory manifestations doth I bestow thee all collectively. Shall the convivialities and high appreciation for such deeds resonate all about, with omnipresent effect.

We've finally added a bunch of the older Featured Custom articles (https://www.alembicguitars.com/custom_archive/) to the website.  We will eventually get all of them displayed, though I may make a consolidated page for many of even older ones since they are shorter and don't have enlargeable or even high-quality images. Work in progress!

Will the April fools page also return? Thanx all for this splendid site :-)

April Fool's Featured Customs are only up for a day when I make one, and the AFFC archive is there for that day alone. You gotta copy them then, find them on the Club (I think there's a few posts about them here), or know someone for that special treat. I come up with ideas all year long for the AFFC then forget them - but I've got a place to record them now and so maybe there will be one in 2027.

Wanna take a peek at some new Custom Options pages that I'll be adding soon? These are in progress:
Guitar Headstocks (https://www.alembicguitars.com/co_headstocksguitar.html)
Left-handed (https://www.alembicguitars.com/co_lefty.html)

and when I have 2 more done, I'll add them to the Custom Options page. Gotta have things line up well  :)

Is there a way to get to the main company site from the Club page? There used to be a link, seems like I remember it was top, right-hand corner. I have a separate bookmark... just curious.

There's still a Visit Alembic Guitars link at the upper right corner of each page.

I see a link on the top right still  "Visit Alembic Guitars (https://alembicguitars.com/)" is there, at least on desktop.

Well ya know, I just checked my iphone and there is no link to the main site there. My old eyes never try to read much on such a small screen, but I will see about getting a path to the site there. Thanks for letting me know!

FWIW, there is a link back to the Club FAQ from the home page there. If that helps at all. 😉

I know how to put links on the main website, because I wrote most of it, but the club is running on a platform I didn't write. Will take some hunting to figure it out. But like I said, I don't interact with the club on mobile. I did check it out for some testing, but that detail escaped me, so I thank you for letting me know!

Turn your phone sideways - and the link appears! We just have to find where to put it when in portrait mode.

Greg, can you confirm that it works on your Samsung the same way?

Nope, the screenshot above is sideways/landscape. I'm using an S22, so a couple generations back. If it works on newer stuff I wouldn't sweat it. 😉

I'm using an ancient (by Apple standards) iPhone 11pro and I see the link only in landscape mode.  It's not there in portrait.  I'm with Mica on too much screentime on a dinky display.  8)

FWIW, this is the exact sort of thing that AI coding agents are extremely good at helping with.  A local deployment of a free LLM and a fairly basic agent can read, understand, and then <do whatever>.  Even if <do whatever> is simply act as a guide to show you where things are in your code.  If you're ever interested in this, let me know and I can fire over some destructions on how to set it up.

What Gary said is the same on my Samsung tablet.
