I have to send the card to the mothership from my Series I for repair. I don't want to break anything before I try and disconnect the ribbon. I am sure its something simple, but can someone please tell me how to release the connection? I attached a couple of pictures.
I appreciate any guidance. Thank you.

Did Mica ask you to send it in?  What has gone wrong with the card that is not serviceable?  Just curious.

The "band" that runs lengthwise over the center of the ribbon connector (left to right in your pic) is the clip that is holding the connector down.  If you gently pull the side of that band it will let go of the underside of the connector and you should be able to work the band free.  Be gentle with it, it's not a very robust piece of plastic - and put it where you can find it again later.  Once that is off the ribbon connector pulls straight up.

Hey Jimmy,
Thank you for your help. It worked perfectly. Yes Mica asked me to send it in. I was having problems with the bridge volume pot, scratching distorted sound when adjusting volume when a note was played. She sent a replacement pot and while it seemed to fix the problem, it came back pretty fast. Tried the spin the knob back and forth over 50 times, checked cables, connections, to no avail. I sent it out today.
Keep you posted.
