Not Alembic-related, but a pretty cool, fairly rare guitar. I still remember the first set of these things that came in at Fret Mill Music 30+ years ago.

A little bit of backstory; for Taylor's 20th anniversary year in 1994, they made two sets of these special Grand Auditorium guitars. One set in Mahogany with Western Red Cedar tops and red purfling, the inverse set was East Indian Rosewood with (I think Englemann) Spruce tops and blue purfling. They are each numbered, dated, and signed, 1-250 of each. The store owner and one of the teachers at the time each bought a set. I think that began my affair with the tonal properties of mahoganies. It surely shaped my preferences. And the inlay style definitely influenced my thinking.

Anyway, I haven't seen one for sale in at least a decade. No idea if this is a good deal or not but it seems reasonable. I sent the seller a message to let them know this is a XX-RS, not an MC. They thanked me and changed the ad listing.
