Larry Taylor had an interesting career, and that had me going down the Canned Heat rabbit hole.

Well, since it was Larry, wouldn't "the Canned Heat Mole hole" be a more appropriate excavation to delve into?
Just sayin'......   ;)

I have been doing that one for over 50 years (but not as long as Mr. Kirchen has).

So, I've been thinking. Canned Heat was big on nicknames; Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson, Bob "The Bear" Hite, Larry "The Mole" Taylor, Henry "The Sunflower" Vestine, Harvey "The Snake" Mandel:  But I have never of anything except "Fito" for Adolfo de la Parra.  No "bluesman" handle.  Anyone know?

In the meantime:
Anthony "Top" Topham (1947)
Paul Barrere (1948)
Andy Fraser (1952)

Jorgenson came to my attention quite some time ago as a member of the Hellecasters.  On of my favorite tunes of his is Son Becomes Father on the Hellecasters' Escape From Hollywood album.  Beautiful melodic playing.
