Frank Beard passed Aug. 17 at 77 of undisclosed causes.

I always appreciated that Frank Beard was the one beardless member of the band.

A story going around today is when the band took a hiatus, upon return all three had beards. Frank's apparently didn't meet the standard of the other two, so he shaved it except for the mustache. Don't know if it's true, but it should be.
