WOW! I just happened upon this today. Bill McGlaughlin died last Tuesday (7/21) at 82.
If you are a public radio listener, you certainly remember Saint Paul Sunday Morning and current show Exploring Music. I was an avid listener for decades. The guy was an enthusiastic host that certainly "did it all." Symphony musician, conductor, composer & educator. I've learned so much from this guy I never met. RIP maestro. I'm surprised NPR made no mention of this yet....the guy has a current daily program on their network!
