The first thing take had me grinning.   Very happy for you being with that group of musicians, seems to be a lot of magic there.

Classic Scorpions bassist Francis Buchholz passed away in January this year, a few months after I recorded this bass cover. He was in Dawn Road with the astounding guitarist Uli Jon Roth, and they later combined with the remains of Scorpions after Michael Schenker left to join UFO. For whatever reason, "heavy metal" has long been one of my main influences, and Scorpions are a big part of that.

I find that having a graphite necked bass with Alembic pickups & electronics is a wonderful combination allowing a kind of precision and balance from the graphite together with an Alembicized tonal warmth. This bass is definitely one of my go-to's.
