...coming back to the roots....

HI Paul,
yes, I have reserved an 8string for me with a special string setup e octave/E a octave/A d octave/D and g octave/G.
All the Spyder 8strings I have seen yet all have the reverse setup like the old Rics have to play with your fingers.
But as JAE did I prefer to get mine the other way to play speed with a pic.
As said it is reserved for me and I think I will take em but it may take a little time to complete the sale because all the banks here didn?t want to give money to a person with Gene Simmons makeup while entering the banks.  :-)

BTW I am still looking for opinions for a good amp. I would like to do biamping so what would you
recommend?

Many greetings and hope to see you some day.
Oliver

Well.
I have a SWR SM400 (the original one) whicj I use in Bi-amp. It only provides 2 x 200W or 1 x 400.
(I have the idea to sell it BTW).
Now I work with the F1-X from Alembic as pre-amp (bi-amp mode) with a Dynacord L-1000 poweramp (2x500) and Glockenklan cabinets (a real US/German set-up).
Take a peep at the last picture added in the 'Gigs' department.
But thatr is just my idea. There has been written a lot over amps in this neighourhood. Although not a lot about frequency-cross-overs to produce a bi-amp possibility.

Talk to you soon!
