Wal basses are great eh. The closest thing you can get to an Alembic. They used to be called the poor man\s Alembic.In my opinion they are a different beast.The lower mids are so prenounced and stable they make a bass player drool if you know what I mean just great. Very difficult to amplify live though.They sound great with GK amps but seem to match best directly through a great PA boosted at 1.3K. At least that is what I found best from my humble experience.
