Source for early F2B knobs?
« on: February 26, 2013, 08:49:29 AM »
I'm getting a very early F2B soon and aside from sharing my excitement, I'm looking for some of the original style red-topped knobs.

It's a very early example according to my seller who says he confirmed it with Susan, since it has a hand-written schematic inside!  So I'd like it to look stock.  Anybody know where I can get some?

Sorry, these Designer brand knobs were actually discontinued when we started buying them. They made lots of them, and we used them for years, but they really haven't been available in over forty years.

Congrats! I think it's kinda cool that each one of these ends up with unique knob configurations for one reason or another. I've had mine since 1988 or so (Made in SF) and it's been bullet proof.

You might be able to get someone with a 3d printer to make some for you.  Just a thought.
