I should correct myself. Not the continuing saga of tailpieces, but the continuing saga of complaints of crooked tailpieces. I have never complained about them as I know that it takes what it takes but then again some complaints have been well deserved also so I'll cut the sarcasm.

Thanks Paul

Part of the reason for this design is that it won't, hopefully, call attention to the sometime necessary practice of mounting tailpieces where they are *visually* off center.

But I will say that I think it looks pretty cool.

Did anyone notice the ebony shim?

I saw the shim under it in the first picture Mica posted.  Didn't know it was Ebony, very nice indeed!

Hello Bradley,

All kidding aside, this is my first serious statement in your thread because I love your sense of humor.

But in all honesty I think the tailpiece is the only and the best one that could fit here. And I agree with you, the lines or curves I should say are such that if when Alembic sets it, if it has to be a little bit off, it will show the least amount if any. But I'm sure that is the least of your worries.

I give it a two thumbs up!

By the way, I didn't notice the ebony. Pretty cool.

Good job, Paul

I've been good!

Well mostly.  Besides, I already told my kids that I'm the only jolly fat man that brings them presents.

Here's my 7-year-old's refrain: How many days until christmas? How many days until Christmas?  How many days until Christmas...

I've been peeking under the Christmas tree, and I know what I'm getting!!!

Just a little..., such a tease...

I almost feel guilty having been able to enjoy the top you originally picked in my hands for over two years already!  Hope it gets home soon.

The elves are sprinting to an early Christmas finish.

Lord willing and the creek don't rise, should be picking up this week.  Looking good.

And beating Flax.
