Alan, Guys,
you are right.
Well I must seriously think about putting a sister besides Alans baby. So the V-head Spyder, exactly re-buildt, would be great.
Most of the difficult research is done; only the body shape needs to be overworked for the V-head.

Mica,

I've got to be honest and say I've been wondering what's been going on.

   This being said ...

It was worth the wait ... it looks incredible.

I'll be heading down to North Carolina at the end of the month.  Hopefully I'll be getting my bass not too long afterward.  Well done.

Back in the setup room, this time for the hardware preset and logo inlay:

It looks really, really sharp.

Good Lord ... it's beautiful.  I've been waiting a long time, but jeez .. it's been more than worth it.  As some might say, excellence doesn't come cheap, nor does it come quickly.  This instrument is worth every penny and every minute.

I'm glad I've been patient.  Incredible, and beyond my expectations.

V/R,

BTW, where will the holes for the two master volumes, switch to choose between them, and the pickup pan pot be on the lower horn?  Not nitpicking, just curious. My guess is you're probably trying to pick the best spot to drill.

Thanks,

Alan

Yeah, we had to wait until the webs were in place to determine the right locations. When the bass goes back to spray, there will be a few more holes in it.

Mike,

    Great to hear from you.

No, not yet.  I talked to Mica a few days ago, and they are in the process of drilling the holes for the master volumes/selector switch/pan pot on the lower horn, making the backplates, and finally applying an amber tint to it.  I'm hoping to have it soon.

Best regards,

Alan
