taylor,
I planned to have the bass as light as logically possible, because i had a severe back pain injury due to HNP ( disc slip).  
So I ask Mica to throw out some body wood .And just to be sure that the air inside doesnt have any effect due to changes in temperature or humidity, I asked for little holes for free air movement.
Just my little knowledge..not sure if that's right or wrong, but just  being conservative I guess.

i can see where getting it light as possible would help, especially being a 7-string! either way, she's a beauty, can't wait for the final pictures

Guitar tuning plus Low B.  
I started playing classical guitar, and the tuning stuck in my memory. So ist string will be high E, 2nd string =B
