Hi Mica,   Hope you are well. Is it easy to simply add another/second strap button on the back of the neck like that of a Stanley Clarke model? The idea is that if I am playing a tune that is mostly in the high register I can swtich to it easily. Then back to the upper horn for tunes that are focused in the low register?

Is there an reason you wouldn't recommend this?  I can't think of a reason off the cuff how it could get in the way or be an issue.

Many thanks, Brian

Scratch that idea Mica. I tried a Mark King for the first time today and I believe  it would get in the when playing  the 24th fret. Please disregard this request. Thanks Brian

All rubbed out and so very lovely:

Gonna get electronics installed then dad will calibrate. There's one in line in front of yours for the electronic calibration, so I'll keep you posted as to when yours is complete and we can coordinate shipping. Won't be long now

That birdseye maple is really something! Don't know if I've ever seen that much figure in one board. The extra dark laminates on either side of the neck is a nice detail too. Looks great Brian!
