I sorta like the little round ball at the end of the 12 gauge for accurate tracking! It's the redneck low-tech that works!

Paulman, thats a good review and your explanation fits with my understanding of the bluetooth devices. I have the one you mention in the first link but as you say the battery life is nowhere as good as the adverts lead me to believe.

Does the brickhouse security tracker work only on USA based networks or will it work in the UK?

I'm not sure if they are GSM based or not, but give their support chat a shout.  They'll be able to tell you.
