Alembic and MIDI
«

Hi all,
I wanna use my epic 5 string as a midi interface for creating expirimental music - for fun first and later more professional.
Any suggestions for me when it matters the midi module: for example, should I use roland or AXON?
Any suggestion is welcome. Greetings from Holland (europe).

yeah you would have to go with a roland or the AXON unit, rite now alembic is not midi as we know it,but however alembic has in the past installed such units upon request ive read it here somewhere on the site, but it's a brilliant idea.

An FC has a Roland GK-2 installed:

I've read positive things about the GK-2B system, I never heard of AXON before. Maybe you should pay Edwin another visit. It's right around the corner for you, isn't it? With some luck, you could give both systems a try.
