Alright! Monday, I had to go to a rehearsal. But I had to give a ride to a friend of mine, but she insisted that I pick her up with my Smart car. The thing is, were was I going to put my bass? And thats when I discovered. You can put an Exploiter in a gig bag behind the seats, and still keep a lot of free room in the trunk.

The thing is, the pointy end of the Exploiter fits perfectly behind the driver seat, and it stays in position perfectly, because it "seats" in the car just like it would on a leg. Perfectly. Honestly, I was amazed, so I decided to jump in and compliment this thread

Oh, and I forgot to mention.
I was able to take the bass, the ride, and do it all, with the top down. Cool, isn't it?

You could have probably strapped it vertically to either of the seats too or even the roll bar. An option I don't have in my hard top.

Oh to have the guaranteed weather for a convertible... It's wet dreary and cold in England at the moment. Not ideal.

Back in the 1970's I could fit my Sunn 215 cabinet in the back seat of my Chevy Vega. Put the Coliseum head in the trunk and my bass in the passenger seat. I still have the Coliseum head but the Vega started smoking the rings in the early 1980's.

Jazzyvee, actually, I have to put it that way exactly because of non-guaranteed weather! Here in summer(yup, it's summer now, and it is damn hot...), it sometimes rains out of nothing, so I need the ability to close it immediately...!

Well Charles, you have a good eye for cars!
It's a 4200GT, no turbos, only a bad ass, Ferrari Modena derived V8. But I guess you know what I'm talking about!
It is half mine half my dad's (He pays, I use. Couldn't be better).

Sweet pics! I believe I see my car in the second to last photo. On the left there appears to be an old Vette? Behind it is a yellow convertible with just the front end sticking out. It's hard to tell for sure, but I think it's a 50's Mercedes 220s Cabriolet. I have a '59 that I just got running for the first time in 5 or 6 years.
