Thank you; and for my next number I'm going to dream about an electric car to plug into my off the grid solar panel system. In the key of E; 1, 2, 3 ...

The price would be higher if you are requesting a power supply and a 5-pin cable. These items are priced separately, $550 retail for the DS-5R and $190 retail for the 20-foot 5-pin cable.

Well i guess that's what it was. Why is the cable so expensive?

Handmade in small quantites, like everything else we make here. We are happy to provide you with a service sheet to build your own cable if you like.

just chiming in here. i have one 5-pin cable that gets plugged into all 3 of my series basses on a regular basis. that hand made cable is the most well made cable i have ever seen and i highly reccomend that you purchase one from alembic if you have a series bass.
cheers

well..i have the original cable for my 76 Series 1. It is a little short though. I'll guess i'll have to upgrade to the rackmount DS-5 and the 20' cable in a little. Thanks for everything guys.

Brent:
Let me know if you want to sell your short one. The Series 1 guitar I just bought off of eBay is coming sans power supply & cable. Given my set up, I'd prefer a shorter cable anyway.

Bill,
Will do. But it may not be for a while because I am rather moneyless.
