We send wood cards along with all the instruments. If you did not receive a wood card when you purchased your new Alembic, let us know and we'll send you one. Dealers sometimes lose the paperwork.

It would be cool if they were made of wood though. :-)

I suppose you could order that as an option; a wood card made of the same wood as your top wood and with the same finish .

I always thought maybe coasters or something made from the scrap would be cool (at a small additional charge, of course).

Better yet, I'm lucky enough to have a scrap that Mica found buried in a 3 foot deep pile of sawdust, months after the fact... it happens to be a complete 1/4 thick outline of the upper bout of my rogue, with mahogany core and almost perfectly aligned grain (great side view) in the front and back coco bolo. I'm thinking about getting it cleaned up and made into a back scratcher, or maybe just an interesting sculpture.

Mind you, I don't actually use coasters, or back scratchers, and I can't figure out what I would do with one of those wonderful boxes that Kris makes... but some of this wood is so exquisite, it would be great to have a little reminder you could keep around somewhere.

Thx Val..Thought I missed something here,but I'm awake now.
Coco Bolo coasters ? Cool !
It would be nice if they actually were wooden cards, but I bet they have a couple other things they want to get to before that..darn !
