DISTILLATE WIRING DIAGRAM
« on: Yesterday at 01:16:12 PM »
Hello! I own a distillate that hasn't been used in over 15 years. I have all the original components (except for one switch that broke, but I bought a replacement). I need the wiring diagram for the parts. I've already sent messages to the Facebook page with photos and haven't received a response. I'll post photos of what I have. Thank you!

Hey Billy
Welcome to the camp.   Pretty certain someone will help you out soon.
I tried posting pictures of my 84’s inside and it bounced to a New Post (Moderators have been working on some site issues).

Will try emailing them to you, not sure if having everything inside the cavity will work for you.

Good luck!

The blue switches are not original, and the functions of bass cut/flat/boost and treble cut/flat/boost use a different switch in each position, so I'm afraid you do not have the correct parts yet. It will not work with the parts you have.

Use the DPDT for the bass cut/flat/boost. For the treble cut/flat/boost, use an on/off/on SPDT (or half on the contacts on a DPDT). Schematic attached.

Hello everyone, thank you for the replies, Mica, do you have any photos of the switches with the components? I did a good part of the wiring by looking at photos here on the site, if you could send some it would be a great help.
Another question is whether the connection of the selector switch is correct, it came with the wires cut as in the photo, I just replaced them with longer wires, if you could send photos it would also help me a lot, thank you!

Pickup selector switch looks right from here.
This is how the Bass and Treble switch cluster usually looked.

Man, seeing those "BP" initials on the schemo was a big flashback for me. I played a bunch of gigs with Brad back then, I wonder where he is now.
