haven't posted up in a while because my band's on medical hiatus. as you may know, i'm in an 80's cover band with a bunch of other 70-year-olds and we've all got some form or another of old men's health problems. you old men out there know what i'm talking about. you youngsters just wait. it'll happen to you. watch this video and see your future.
here's our first pass at head over heels. i just happened to have the ebony amazon freshly strung with new rotosounds with me for this particular outing. i went down a string guage (RS665LCs for those of you keeping track) just to give 'er that extra
snap that this bass does so well. the B-string on this bass is freaking
massive. i could feel the whole house vibrate when i hit that low C. i was testing a new video camera that refused to connect to the laptop once i got on-site so i went wtih the laptop camera on selfie mode which explains why i'm the star of the show. extra kudos to our drummer who's dealing with some serious men's issues but showed up to rehearsal ready to sing and play.
