SN 75 238, series ii bass, converted from series I bass???
« on: November 12, 2024, 05:06:16 AM »
Hello!  Thanks for taking my request.  I own this bass.  I am searching for build sheets, former owners, any and all info pertaining.   I am a professional mucisian and this is one of my most cherished basses.  Thanks in advance!
I would leave pics but I have had issues trying to post with attachments,  so I am leaving photos out to make sure post get thru. The bass is Zebrawood on front back and headstock.   No accent.  Bass is wired stereo and plays wonderfully to.this very day.

Blair,
Welcome to the camp!
Several members here have keen ID'ing skills and may answer a lot of questions for you before the Build Sheet gets posted.

Very nice grain on your bass.  Although it might take awhile and build sheets are not available for every bass, Mica makes an efort to shared any information she can find.  However, I believe that it is Alembic's policy to not divulge the names of past individual owners. Music shops who order an instrument yes, names of people who were previous owners, usually not. However, if a post keeps going long enough, it's possible a former owner may chime in.
