75-149 zebra guitar?
«

Hi,
This 6-string guitar sold from Sun Ridge Guitars’ site before I ever saw or had a chance at it. It really, in the words of Anchorman, floats my boat.
If anybody here has it and/or ever wants to part with it, please let me know!
Cheers!

If I were going to have a Fernandes, I would much rather have an FAB.
On the subject of #149... that guitar was the epitome of a flash-in-the-pan. A pawnshop had it for a minute, I seem to remember. That began its journey to Flipsville. I hope it already found a good home. I'm kinda'-sorta' looking for #150 myself. The ugly duckling of Alembics. I love it dearly. There's a certain appeal of that particular bass to me. I don't know why. Thomas had an eye for 'em.

Hey Greg! Yes, Thomas had some great instruments. One that he had was 75-219. Where is that one? I would give it a good home.

That's right, he did have that one... it was being refurbished. Weren't there a pair of #75-219's though? Accidental duplicates. I remember a couple in there somewhere. Maybe it was 215 or 216. I know about 217...

Yes, there are two 219's. Both zebrawood, but the grain faces in opposite directions.

I am going to hazard a guess that FAG means 'Fernandes Alembic Guitar' and FAB means 'Fernandes Alembic bass'.
