Thank you, it's been a long time.
I hope your gigs go well, it's great getting back on stage after a break.

I have been offered a number of gigs and projects this year from reggae deps on guitar and bass to a local guy starting a new band and is writing some John Scofield type fusion jazz..... I said yes to that one even though it's way out of my comfort zone to develop interesting basslines for that genre ..... I wonder if JJ does lessons? :-)

Unfortunately the person I needed to contact regarding that was not in yesterday so streaming didn't happen.
Also we had problems with the venue's PA and the two keyboard players did not have anything coming out of their stage monitors.
Despite all that, it was a really good and enjoyable gig, sold out and they loved every track.

Yep and quite an old one that I bought from a friend who used it  as a combo for electric piano.

Got a nice festival gig coming up soon.
ReggaeLand Festival in Milton Keynes 30th July 2022
http://reggaeland.co.uk

Believe it or not it is 40years this year since Pass The Dutchie went to No 1 in the UK Charts and a UK tour is currently being booked for later in the year.

Just for clarity, i wasn't in the band back then so can't claim any credit, or royalties for it.
I have been in the band since 2004 firstly as guitarist and now bass player powering the band with alembic basses since 2012.

just got home from a gig depping on bass for a local UB40 tribute band at a wedding reception.
Gig went fine though not something I would want to do regularly.

18 years is quite a tenure in such an established band. Well done, Jazzy.  8)
