In The Court of the Crimson King is one of my all-time favorite albums, and I've been listening to those songs a lot recently. I am thankful for his contribution to that album and his co-founding of that band.

RIP. Foreigner was not really my thing, but I was glad Ian was able to find some commercial success during his career.
