There's something to that, JV.  Stop me if I've told this one (it seems She thinks I repeat stories; vile slander, of course), but on a related note, some years back I was watching Jerry Jeff Walker's cable show; he had Kris & Willie on.  They're jamming - Kris strumming a 12, JJ strumming a 6, and Willie on Trigger playing his patented 'Django goes to Austin" licks.
Kris leans into the mic and says "When we all play together like this, no one can tell who's doing the pretty parts" and leans back.  A bar or two later he leans back in:  "I feel like Willie Vanilli!"
So just make sure before you switch off that they're not Willie or something.......
