my avatar is a collection of miscellaneous objects that sit on one of the monitors in my combination living room/bass room/dining room. Got a porcelain dog head that came off a candy jar that i keep handy with fondly remembered elan and fretless essence in the background. My new bass is an MK deluxe with an outstanding buckeye burl top that looks like storms on jupiter. i've been thinking of changing avatars, but i like this one in a kitschy sort of way...
