I had a great 1 hour lesson with her that lasted 3 hours 23 years ago. It took months to absorb everything she gave me.

Nice post.  I have seen bits of this before but it stands re-watching.  Such a talent and all spoken with humour, knowledge and confidence.
I loved the way she switches between bass and guitar.  Also, very modest instruments. price-wise.

Amazing.   She has quite a command of the instrument.

I haven't had time to check this out; is it the one where she talks about how important it is to play to the chords rather than the scales?

she does talk about using chords instead of scales. she explains it pretty clearly. I'm not a schooled musician, just been at it for 50 years playing what i hear tossed in with the 1,4,5, magic trick, tell me the mystery chord in the bridge.... but i understood her explanation.

shes got playing what you hear in your ear career
