Yeah. I don't know... I bet they'd swap for a 4-pack of Charmin.

Lawd, I 'pologize for that right there... that was... that really un-called for.  ::)

Ed, I actually had to google to see what charmin meant. So I guess yes you better wipe that comment away. :-)

If I ever make it over there for a visit Jazzy, you'll have to teach me some Brummie.  Yeah, this whole hoarding-of-the-TP over here has gone well past the ridiculous. There was no shortage until somebody, somewhere thought there would be. Then, like a giant flock of birds changing direction, everyone decided simultaneously to buy every last roll there was. So now there isn't any to be had.

FWIW, I had to look up "chuffed" one time...   ;D

We have had that panic buying over here with toilet paper and all the cleaning stuff both personal and household, tinned and dried food and supermarket freezer cabinets empty. Fortunately for me being vegan, the vegetables and fruit were not affected so for now I haven't had a shortage of anything when I get into the supermarket. The main issue for me has been getting into a supermarket in the first place to get anything as the queues were snaking across car parks and I didn't fancy standing outside with all those potentially virus laden shoppers.

As a vegetarian (I don't know how you vegans do it) I typically go to the grocer several times a week for fresh vegetables and fruit. Here in MN they are plentiful but I do worry a bit every time I go whether I'm increasing my risk so much I should just start buying weekly.  And by the way...we are through the TP and cleaning supply craze here and have moved on to people hoarding....hair dye/coloring! I wonder what's next?

Hilariously optimistically overpriced!

There must be a reason other than a desire to sell that this was posted.
