Vintage Guild Starfire bass with a carved birds eye maple arch top for custom active electronics, high and low band pass filters, active EQ. designed by GRD guitars. Sunrise passive pickups. Pyramid strings. Schaller strap locks. Customized hard shell case. Real silver paint for RF shielding.

I'm wondering if this is Phil Anderson (aka Andertone)'s bass. I know he has an old Starfire with a number of modifications.

Very interesting! I wonder how many Alembicized Starfires are out there (even though this one appears to have no Alembic pieces in it).
