Very nice!  I lover the look of these basses. I looked for a fretless one of those for..well almost forever...and never saw one come up.  Instead I ended up with a Rob Allen.  which with coated strings on it, it's as close to an upright sound as I've ever been able to get.

Me too. I'm just concerned about upper register access.

A friend of mine has one of the early Model 1 guitars. I am always am blown away by how good it sounds but IMO the neck feels closer to an acoustic guitar neck and it is difficult to reach the upper registers. Never stopped Lindsey Buckingham from making it his first choice for a quite a lot of years now.

There is another one on eBay but not quite as good of a deal
