Hello All,

I'm selling my Essence 4-string for $1950 + shipping. I'm the original owner. I believe I bought this in 1991, but some of you might know more about the serial numbers than I do. It's a beautiful flamed maple top. Very light weight (maybe 8.5lbs if that). It's all original except for the Schaller strap locks. I have the original strap buttons, but I can't find them right now. Works and looks great. I used to play it a lot, but it's just been sitting and needs a new home. It's in excellent condition for its age. There are the usual belt scratches on the back finish, but nothing bad (and nothing through the finish). I just sent it to the local Alembic certified luthier to be shined up and checked out. It looks, sounds and plays great. I'm sure I'll regret selling it. It's possible I'll change my mind if it sits here too long. Anyway, let me know if you have any questions.

It will ship from MTD Basses (Michael Tobias Designs is near me, they are friends and I'll have them box and ship it). It will ship with a worn out gig bag. You can also pick up in Southern California, and I can meet someone at a reasonable distance.
