Really pretty bass here, at a fair price... looks like it might have Signature electronics too.

Wow isn't that sweet!!!!
Just my kind of bass now if that was over in Europe it would be hard to resist but from the states with shipping and insurance and duty into the UK makes it expensive.... I think...hmmm... no I've stopped buying.....!!!!

It looks like Cocobolo on top and back. Very nice.
Great price too.(Especially considering the Cocobolo!!) I'd be all over it if it weren't for the KC in the fretboard.

Can we change the K into an F? :-)
Very cool, basically a Signature deluxe 5 in Elan shape.

Pictures are too dark to say with any certainty, but it says burled walnut in the product specs. I agree; it sure looks like cocobolo or rosewood. Whoever he is, KC had very good taste in custom Alembics!

The inlay wouldn't put me off actually. I'd just take it across town to Jaydee (John Diggins) and get it replaced it is not an expensive job.

Very nice bass. Have been looking out for an Elan 5 for a while, and fell in love with this one. So now it is on it`s way to Norway. Couldn`t resist buying it :D
But have to figure something out about the KC..

A luthier will be able to replace that with some abalone or some other material to match the other position markers really easy. Other than that a sharpie is your friend until you find a more permanent solution. :-)
Good catch with that. It's a superb bass.
