Multiple guitar stands ?

Paul TBO: This is a pic of the String Swing ($10 from Musician's Friend).

The plate screws to your head (or whatever is high enough on your stack). Its flat, so I've never had any problems when hauling gear. The hook screws into the plate at the gig, and your bass hangs there.

I used the side away from the edge of the stage, so my bass is protected from the great unwashed on breaks. NB: my amp head is about 37 lbs. and low profile, so the bass has NO chance of tipping. If you attach to a rack, consider the lowest mounting point that will serve your need, so that physics and gravity don't make this a "learning experience". I imagine you could hang basses from each side, and maybe 2 on the back if you'd like! Larry (The Wide One)

Just a note:
The picture above was taken during the 4th set of Free Beer for the Band Night. Horizontal levitation- just another Alembic first!

Paul, take a look at the stringswing pics on http://www.jhs.co.uk/stringswing.html
I guess you could use the CLAMP, STRAP AND CLIP-ON HANGERS in the middle of the page. This could fit on your bass cabinets or on your rack I think.

I already emailed stringswing to know who imports this in Belgium ;-)

Cheers

You're welcome Paul.
Indeed the first one would fit your Glockenklang cabs, the second one would fit my SWR cabs or 19 rack. I'll let you know when I receive news.
I'm just curious how safe the hook is attached.

True!
Although the second one can be attached to my Amp-flight case which is higher from the ground. I think the handles on the side of the Glock (4x10) are not high enough because the underneath box only covers a 15.
Just a thought!
Keep me posted!
Really appreciate your help!

Next meeting my place???
I have some good wine, beer and espresso too!
And I'll invite some other Alembic dudes too!

BTW: I'll need 2 of those ...huh ....oh ....the clamps ...not the dudes LOL
