Rogue and Ashdown questions

Hey guys.  I picked up a rogue 4 string in august off ebay and love it to death.  My question is im running an Ashdown EVO 500 head with an Ashdown 600 watt 4x10.  ANyways, im assuming that my rogue is active electronics, so i've beening go through the low inpedence input.  ive gone through the high a few times, and it sounds good as well. was wondering if this is a bad thing to do, what it kinda means to do that and the like.  Im assuming that since the bass is active, the low impedence offers some protection from the bass's pre-amp boost.  
 
and a side question on the rogue, as far as the electronics go, i have the standard setup for the rogue, are the quick tone change switches bass and treble? or are they individual switches for the pick ups?  or are they both?

The quick tone switches are bass and treble and are not individual switches for the pickups.  Each switch provides 6db boost, flat, and 6db cut.

I dont think Alembic makes a bass with passive EQ, do they ?
The low and high inputs on the amp help control the input gain to the pre-amp. With an active EQ instrument, you should get a cleaner sound from the low input. The gain will be more controllable.
But it shouldn't hurt the amp to use the high.
