Years ago I had something called an SV9 cabinet.  It had 9 tens in it.  They only made them for a couple of years.  Sorry Dino but it sounded terrible.

Talk about Spinal Tap - This one goes to nine!

Hey Mike,

No need to be sorry man.  Ampeg has made some dogs in the past.  I admit it!!!

Hey Darrell, Jeff Pilson of Dokken had a rig very similar to this one on the Monsters Of Rock Tour.  It was a 32x10 cabinet though.  He couldn't use it because another bass player from one of the other bands complained that it was bigger than his rig.

Hmm...

That giant cabinet is the second one in existance? I dug around on the internet and found something v.v. similar on the Bangles fan forum! Didin't expect to see it there! I saw a photo with what looked like a 32 x 10 Ampeg cabinet and head with a darker, less sparkly (sic?) cloth over the cones. It was apparently at Manny's in New York, with a price tag of $25,000. Not sure where the photo is, but the walls of the shop were mid-blue in colour, if this sounds correct to anyone who's visited the store (bit far for me to check myself!)
