Stop by the Ampeg booth.  I'll be there all week.

Dino,
I'll pop in sometime before Noon Friday.  I just bought an Ampeg B-5R and love it.  I look forward to meeting you.

Dave,
I'd love to come out to hear you, but I'm camping that Friday night in Brodhead, Wisconsin, at the Pietenpol gathering.

Nope moder Dave,I'll be playing a full night. The Noodle is my old home away from home as well as the band.I played with this outfit for 8 or 9 years and it looks as though I'll be playing with them again for a good while longer.
Good for you John.I love to go camping myself from time to time but lately I haven't had the time.I'm envious.Roast a weenie for me ok?.

Oh Dave, it's going to be lots of Pietenpol homebuilt airplanes, lots of airplane rides and an awesome pork chop dinner under the trees.  We do this as an annual warmup for our real vacation in August, just to prove we remember how to setup the tent.  There will be hundreds of really interesting people camping out with their airplanes and doing lots of flying, both hangar and otherwise.  There is usually a jam session of some sort, which I have yet to join (they like their music like they like their airplanes - no electrical system).  It is really tearing me up that NAMM is happening the same weekend so close to home, because the Brodhead trip is so good for my soul.  I'm told, though, that NAMM probably won't be in Indianapolis again, so I don't want to totally miss it.  It would be awesome if someone from The Mothership were there (as they were in Chicago in '81), though I don't expect it.  As is, I look forward to bumping into as many of our fellow Alembicians as possible during my short visit.  And I can't believe I haven't made it up to Indy to hear you yet.  That needs to change...

You bet.We only play a handful of shows a year since he moved to Sarasota Florida but he is thinking about putting a production company together here to develope new artist's so I hope that goes well since I will be put to good use using my Rogue.Any ol' excuse to bring that baby out lights a fire in my heart everytime.

Sarasota is a great town.  If you like small smoky blues clubs check out Classic Wax.
Speaking of your Epic, Bass Central has a fine zebrawood Rogue on hand that would go great with either of our Epics.  I showed it to my wife and tried to convince her how excited she would be to have it.

I just CAN NOT believe that Nashville was foolish enough to let Summer NAMM get away.  Indy's a great town, wish I was off work, I'd sneak up there and become the Personal Assistant to Mr. Monoxelos for the weekend . . . Believe me, once it goes to Austin it'll never go anywhere else for a LONG time.

Say Dino, how's things with SLM/Ampeg now that you have new owners?

Hey Joey,

Yeah I'm bummed out that it's not in Nashville too.  I hear they've got a big race track in Indy though. LOL!!!!
As far as the buyout, nothing really has changed.  I still answer to the same people in St Louis.  Until they tell me different it's business as usual.  Thanks for asking though.

Peace,
Dino

Dino,
Great to meet you at the Ampeg booth.  It's always nice to have a face, a voice and a tactile handshake to put with the posts...
