It's not Alembic but you might like it. I met Victor Wooten at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland.
He did play an Alembic bass in the early day's, now he plays this old fodera.
I've got two of these in my collection as well.

lucky guy marc. Victor is one hell of a bass player and I'd love to see him live. Especially with the flecktones.
BTW, is that Jeff Coffin peering over your shoulder in the first pic?
