Geddy Lee's "Backline"

I don't use paypal. A check or money order is just fine with me. I have to get it all together and weighed. It won't be light. I'll try to get some pics and send them to you via email. BTW the pedals will also run on a 9volt battery for a reasonable amount of time. Better than using a power supply on gigs.
Still getting back to normal after the rain so I hope you're not in a rush.

Oh I understand. I'll be running it from an external source for reliable power. I was wondering why you don't use paypal? I prefer it for the insurance it provides, because I was looking to use a credit card. But, if you can send me pics that would be cool.

Okay we all know that Geddy had Two Rickenbacker 4080 double necks: a Jetglo 4080/12 which was modified with Gibson Humbuckers in the guitar section and a Leo Quann Badass bridge in the bass section. The second one was a mapleglo 4080 with the same mods used presumably as a spare. The Jetglo 4080/12 was donated to a museum but the mapleglo apparently never left Geddy's posession.

Look closely behind that Ovation accoustic on the far left of the picture.

The one reason I can think of why Geddy didn't take that one out for Rush's recent tours is because it doesn't have the 12 string neck needed for songs like Xanadu too bad really, I'm sure a lot of fans would love to see him appear with a rick double neck on stage again.

speaking of rush, I never though it would happen...After years of playing grateful dead, phish, MMW and improv based music, last night I jammed with some Rush Heads, and all these cool tunes came back to me that I learned like 10 years ago...La Villa, cygnus x1, a few others....

I thought Id been burned out on Rush long ago, but it was actually refreshing to play something that is the polar opposite of what Ive been playing (improv based music)....Ill probably take some time out and sit down with some of the more classic rush cd's I have and relearn them....

ok, I have a question -- on Snakes and Arrows, the story that Neil has posted on the Rush website says that Ged is using a fretless bass for one of the instrumentals.  Anyone have an idea what he is using (brand?).  Curious!  I love the new album btw.
