Weird bass and guitars
« on: October 27, 2007, 04:46:40 PM »
I stumbled across this, and thought I'd share it with anyone who cares.

A few interesting things here, worth a second or two of time to look at, perhaps...

Okay, correction, there's a BUNCH of REALLY cool stuff on this site... the instruments are cool, but dig around and look at some of the other pictures they have there.

There's a REALLY wide range of things... cute animal pictures, pictures of Mars, really neat innovative art, exotic hotels, gizmos... just of bunch of really neat stuff.

Check it out, gang, it's pretty cool!

Click on some of the thumbnail images under the last/lowest instrument (as you scroll down).  You'll see some really cool stuff, and as you open up different pictures, you'll see other cool thumbnails/pictures.  I'm talking about the older stuff.

All this guy did is suck up the 'Funny Basses' section from www.bunnybass.com.  LOTS of these Frankensteins and macho relics and unspeakable experiments with lumber . . . . .

i never really understood the bunnybass thing. you have to pay a membership fee to look at a bunch of other people's basses? pretty lame.

That wasn't the original setup, and the site kind of died when they started the subscription. They don't seem to move a lot of instruments on the public sale site either.

They do know how to take wonderful pictures of instruments, you have to give them credit for that.

Speaking of weird basses, I just picked up a Jerry Jones Longhorn 4 and the thing is  tone  monster.  Just amazing.  Almost ready to order a new one.
