Um, Olie, we know you're a bass player, so we'll let it slide , but while the ES-137, 147, 175, 225, 295, & 350, among others, are single cuts, the ES-335 is indeed possessed of 2 Venetian cut-aways. And while we should always remember the Byrdland, can we forget Ted?
As to single-cut basses, I've always loved the looks of a Les Paul Triumph or a Gretsch Broadkaster or the like (or, of course, Torbert's), but these new ones that have the bass bout at about the 3rd fret & the treble bout at the 56th (or so they look) leave me cold. They just look unbalanced to me (though there are those who would tell you that the unbalance is internal).
