Just got home tonight and found my new issue of Bass Player with a Jimmy Johnson transcription to Alan Holdsworth's Panic Station. There's no interview but a there ae some quotes about the recording process.
I subscribe to this magazine because it's cheap and I know a few times a year I'll get a gem of an article like this.
Also, The March '06 COTM Thunder and Lightening is used in the Jimmy's Gear article. Did he steal this bass?
