I've never seen this before (or if I did, I don't remember it).  What a very pleasant surprise, running across this video this afternoon!

It helped make my wait a little calmer. Would it be considered plagiarism if I wrote a song Here Comes the UPS Man (or Woman)?

Sing whatever you want!  Listening to Harrison and Simon while waiting for your bass to arrive must certainly be an interesting place to be.

Was that the night Paul Simon did Still Crazy After All These Years in the chicken suit?

I believe it was the Thanksgiving show and he wore a giant turkey costume.  One of my favorites!

I remember watching that live, I was twelve and the biggest Beatles fan ever.

I remember SNL kept offering the Beatles a check for some nominal fee to get back together. I kept wishing. . . .

I got goosebumps on the harmonies of Homeward Bound.
Thanks for the memories Dave!

As I recall Lorne Michaels offered the Beatles $3000 and said they could split it up anyway they wanted in case they didn't want to give Ringo a full share.  SNL was really funny in those days.
