O.K., I know this is off-topic and has nothing to do with Alembic, but Dallas Braden of my beloved Oakland Athletics pitched a perfect game today: 27 men up, 27 men down.  No hits, no walks, no errors,  In the entire history of baseball, this is only the 19th perfect game ever pitched.  I believe they said it works out to one perfecto per 11,000 games.  Way to go Dallas!  Whooo Hooo!

Also, the fewest swings and misses in a perfect game, 5. That was mentioned during the Red Sox-Yankee game tonight.

Great stuff! I wish it had been against the Yankees, after the A-Rod flap. And I wish he was on the other side of the bay (45 year Giants fan)!
