I am a little confused by this sentence in the description, though:

If it's unexpected, how can they expect it?

I've seen lots of youtube of Ann Marie and she's been amazing for a long time.

Is it me or does this clip make others think they are flashing back to the days of John McLaughlin, Jerry Goodman/Jon Luc-Ponty and the Mahavishnu Orchestra? A friend saw the performance and indicated that in spite of some of Vai's theactrics, the intensity of the playing on this number was present the entire concert.
