Seymour Basslines, Hiphot bridge, rosewood fingerboard (I guess they haven't yet developed an acoustically 'perfect' fingerboard material
yet), GraphTech nut. Gee, this sounds like about 20 other 'boutique' basses I can think of, as they all parts-shop at the same place. And a lot of them are around 3500 Euros, too.

This 'molded-as-one-piece' thing comes up every so often. I've yet to 'get it' as to why this makes any difference.

If you're gonna be really different, do it all. Put on your big boy pants and come up with that 'changes everything' blast, like the Fender Precision, the Alembic Series axes, or Ned Steinberger's Spector or headless basses. I know things like this come along rarely, but all these specialist basses with the same hardware and pickups just run together in my mind, and it's hard to tell them apart.

IIRC it's the second all plastic instrument to hail from the Netherlands. The previous one didn't really sell like hotcakes ... and this one has these airvents that do not appear to serve any meaningful purpose.

The air vents on the side are reminiscent of the side vents on an aston martin and I know which i would prefer.
But the proof is in the pudding. I'd still like to hear one as they are quite good looking although I do take what you say Joey it seems like another parts shop.

It's all bollocks...I think the nearest I can recall to anything new along with the aforementioned makers is Status.
Fender P...a classic that is universally renowned..good for all music
Alembic...the bass taken into the elite class, cannot be copied(although many have tried and failed!)
Steinberger...plastic at it's best, sold zillions in the 80's
Call me a traditionalist(or anything you wish) but Arium is another word for plastic.
Maybe wood doesn't give constant results but this is why every wood built bass sound different to tuned ears.
Someone once quoted 'the wood is the voice, the pick ups are the microphones'
If every singer had the same voice how boring would that be!

I would like to hear one and play one, although I am not going to go far out of my way to do so. (On the other hand, a trip to Holland would be fun...)
After all, you can't tell what it would be like to ride a Buell just by reading the spec sheet.
