CLAPTON WINWOOD AT MSG
« on: February 27, 2008, 07:02:44 AM »
Wow
its all i can really say. i havent seen clapton in a good 15 yrs. i have dvds etc but nothing prepped me for last night at the garden. totally totally one of the best shows i have ever seen. they culled tunes from across both of their long histories. blind faith, derek, solo hits, traffic, cream, you name it
there were a couple of tunes i didnt hear- i,e low spark and gimme some lovin, but its hard to bitch.
having only 1 guitar for most of the night gave me a chance to enjoy the powerful rythym playing that clapton does so effortlessly.
here is a link to the set list
Ps- i still have tickets for the final show- email me if interested-
